A very high quality, heavy, leaded glass one-piece lamp made in the 1880's-90's. Although a pressed glass lamp, the execution is so good it has the appearance of cut glass (called prescut glass). Oil guard rim surrounds the font and is capped by the original press on #2 collar (one small stress crack). The #2 brass burner is undated, but very old. UNUSUAL piecrust chimney has a lightly ribbed 'skirt' just below the top(see photo). Price includes the burner, wick and lovely old chimney. Price = $140.00
