To accommodate people who would like to pay using a check or money order, I regularly ship items without receiving payment first. Likewise, a person may special order parts from me without having to pay in advance. This arrangement works well. But sometimes there are unscrupulous people who receive items and never pay for them, or special order them and then cancel, or receive an item but change their mind and return it without reimpbursing me for having special ordered it or paying for the shipping to them. Below are the few "customers" who have demonstrated their untrustworthiness:

Despite three subsequent attempts to elicit a response from John, I cancelled his order and re-stocked all I had packed for shipment.

She failed to pay the shipping cost but did take delivery by FedEx. Despite emails, a phone call, and snail mail letter. She remains mute and has not paid for the shipping of the shade that she ordered.
