GAVOTTE PATTERN ANTIQUE OIL LAMP
An uncommon late 1800's
hand lamp (small enough to be carried from room to room). The pattern is called GAVOTTE and was made between 1880-1900 in the U.S. It features a rare smoothly frosted fern patterned
font (Thuro pictures a clear font on page 292 of Vol. I). Including the original press on brass collar, a period Plume & Atwood #1 size brass burner, and a replacement 7.5" tall chimney.
Price = $96.00 Virtually flawless but for an enclosed bubble on the topside of the foot, visible in several of the photographs.
